WHY INDIA NEEDS A NATIONAL POLICY FOR CONTROLLING THE BIG US FIRMS?

Have you ever wondered as how your notion and opinion is being altered and compelled to believe on a different reality altogether? Or have you ever concerned as how Big US companies barge in your privacy and act as a naive? Nevertheless, you seldom believe on what their spoke men shamelessly out rightly discarding the fact that they are spying on you.

Believe it or not, either you are ignorant enough to make the apprehension of it or else you have never paid heed to it. The Big fish like AMAZON, GOOGLE and FACEBOOK has not only been indulged into data theft but also periling the country as a whole. These companies are posing a big threat to the nation and their residents too. These companies are gradually running a parallel government and most of the government and their official became an easy prey of their dirty game. Unlike, earning the huge profits every day, they are also guilty of unethical trade practices and promoting certain corporations and companies products and services while marginalizing few small players. Developing countries are more prone to such mal-practices. In most of developing countries, inefficiency of government officials and technological lags make these BIG FISH run their show successfully and inadequate resources and apprehension of their business model worsen the situation at large.

Off late, FACEBOOK has banned the Australian government as the newly proposed act of payment of charges over publication of news articles to domestic news agencies or content providers. However, this is not the first and only instance rather country like India has also raged its concern over the same. But the political hick-ups and other economic benefits associated to it put the entire effort of the government will into back seat.

Besides, in a recent development it has been observed that the big shopping platform AMAZON has allegedly benefited certain traders earning good profit while compromising other traders. Such act must bring into the light and the company (AMAZON) should be penalized for being involved into unethical trade practices. Similarly, FACEBOOK also failed to comply with government norms and let the farmer protesters fume the agitation that broke out on republic day. The unauthorized usages of public domain and inefficiency of such platform to control the situation attract the social liability of such corporations. Such companies cannot act dumb and pretend to be naive enough. Pouring in complaints raises reasonable doubts on the intention of such corporations. And every now and then something or other coming up which has a direct or indirect linkage to these companies.

Moreover, spying private information of the users has surfaced many electronic and public platforms which were out rightly denied by these companies. However, these companies still continued their vicious game accessing vital private information of the public. The government should make strict policy regarding such malpractices and such corporation should not only be fined but also banned for acting in the country. It is high time when government should prioritize the concern of their residents and nation as a whole. These companies should not be given a free hand to work as per their will.
